Here’s wishing you a Happy Pi Day…

If my picture isn’t good enough, here’s a better representation of pi.

    I like your picture!

For the athletic geeks out there, Georgia Tech has a Pi mile race on their campus in Atlanta, GA each year, with the 40th annual race this year on 04/14/2012. Details at: http://gtalumni.org/pages/pimile

A standard 5 KM race is about 3.107 miles. So a Pi mile race is 3.14159… miles, or about 5.0559 KM, or a standard 5 KM race plus about 56 meters.

That’s awesome. I might have to think about doing that with some friends next year on Pi day.
