If you hadn’t seen it, Microsoft release CTP 4 of SQL Server 2008 as a VHD last Friday.  Check it out and start enjoying the the new features.  I am extremely hyped about the changes being implemented on Reporting Services.  But I am also in deep mourning over the removal of Notification Services.
